Custom and Semi-Custom FF&E Supply for Wholesale Collections
MUENHUIDECOR supports wholesalers, importers, interior brands, retailers and hospitality buyers sourcing lighting and FF&E décor collections that can be reviewed, adapted and replenished over time. Our supply scope includes decorative and architectural lighting, artwork and textile art, decorative objects and vases, candle holders and trays, and selected accent furniture.
Buyers can start with an existing design, a reference image or a drawing. Depending on the product, quantity and requirements, we can discuss standard sourcing, semi-custom adaptation or a deeper custom development route. This route helps buyers compare supply options, prepare a clearer brief and plan future replenishment before production begins.
We are most suitable for buyers developing or replenishing coordinated lighting and décor collections, rather than buyers looking for one-off stock items or immediate spot purchases.
Request a Wholesale Collection Review: Send a product reference, approximate quantity, destination and target timing. We will suggest the most suitable sourcing route.
Who This Supply Route Is For
This page is most relevant to:
- wholesalers building or extending a lighting and décor collection;
- importers looking for repeatable products with controlled adaptations;
- interior brands developing private-label or branded collections;
- hospitality buyers sourcing lighting and coordinated décor;
- retailers testing a collection before expanding or reordering.
It may be less suitable when you need a fixed stock item immediately, a very small one-off quantity or a product specification that has not yet been defined. Send the basic requirement first so we can discuss the most suitable route.
Three Ways to Start a Wholesale Requirement
Existing product or selected design
Use this route when the product direction is already clear. Send a product link, reference image or selected model together with the intended quantity, destination and timing. We can then review whether the item is suitable for the requested collection or order.
Semi-custom adaptation
Semi-custom is suitable when the core design is workable but the buyer needs controlled changes such as finish, size, material, shade fabric, shade color, selected electrical specifications, packaging or branding details.
This route is often a practical starting point for wholesale collections because it allows a product to fit a target market or brand identity while keeping the product direction easier to review and repeat.
Full-custom development
Full-custom is suitable when the brief requires deeper changes to form, materials, construction or the production approach. A full-custom request begins with a feasibility discussion based on the reference, drawings, intended quantity, materials, finish and delivery requirements.
Final specifications, samples, production timing and commercial terms are confirmed case by case. A reference or drawing helps us identify what needs to be confirmed before development proceeds.
What to Include in a Wholesale Request
For a faster first review, provide as many of the following as possible:
- reference image, drawing or selected product link;
- product category and intended application;
- approximate quantity and whether repeat orders are expected;
- destination country or region;
- preferred material, finish, color or shade option;
- packaging, labeling or private-label requirements;
- for lighting, any known power, CCT, beam angle, cut-out size, driver or dimming requirements.
Repeat Orders and Collection Expansion
For wholesale collections and future replenishment, the approved product reference should be reviewed together with the finish, dimensions, materials and other key specifications before production. This gives both sides a clearer basis for comparing future orders and collection extensions.
Repeatability depends on confirmed materials, components, finish processes and production conditions. We recommend approving the final sample and key specifications before bulk production, especially when a product will be reordered or used across a wider collection.
Finish, Material and Product Adaptation
The finish is part of the specification. Metal tones, glass, crystal, stone, textiles, artwork surfaces and decorative materials can affect appearance, cost, handling and repeatability.
For lighting and décor requests, available directions may include metal finish, shade fabric or color, selected dimensions, diffuser or stone options, and packaging requirements. Feasible options depend on the product and requested quantity. Final choices are confirmed after reviewing the reference and production requirements.
Private-Label Packaging
For suitable wholesale programs, packaging and labeling requirements can be reviewed together with the product direction. Availability depends on the product, quantity, packaging format and target market.
Samples, Inspection and Pre-Shipment Review
Samples help buyers review appearance, dimensions, materials and basic build before bulk production. For lighting, the approved sample should be accompanied by the confirmed specifications and components that matter to repeat production.
Pre-shipment inspection support can be arranged according to the order scope. Inspection scope, timing and reporting requirements should be agreed before production or shipment. For lighting sample preparation, see Lighting Sample Request: A Wholesale Brief. Example Lighting Information Buyers May Need to Confirm
For lighting requests, the information to confirm may include power, lumen output, CCT, beam angle, IP rating, cut-out size, driver and dimming type.
One catalogue range includes 7W, 15W, 20W, 30W and 40W options, with listed outputs from 560 lm to 4,000 lm, CCT options of 3000K, 4000K and 5700K, and 20° or 40° beam angles. Depending on the model, IP20 or IP65 options may be available. These details are examples from the catalogue and do not apply to every product.
For a specific product, final specifications must be confirmed against the selected model, approved sample and production requirements.
Typical Lead Time and MOQ
A typical lighting production lead time is around 30–45 days after the required specifications, sample direction and order details are confirmed. Actual timing depends on the product, customization, quantity, materials, component availability and production schedule.
There is no single fixed MOQ for every lighting or FF&E item. MOQ is reviewed according to product type, quantity, customization requirements, packaging and production conditions. Contact us with your requirement so we can confirm the appropriate starting quantity.
What to Send for a First Review
Please send your reference or drawing, approximate quantity, destination, target timing and any known finish, material, packaging or electrical requirements. We will review whether standard sourcing, semi-custom adaptation or full-custom development is the most suitable route.
