Wholesale Restaurant Table Vases: Choosing Compact Designs

Buying restaurant table vases wholesale? Check the complete arrangement, vase opening and intended flower use before selecting compact designs for supply.

A small vase can become a wide table arrangement once flowers and foliage are added. The container may fit between place settings while the stems extend into space needed for glasses, plates or shared dishes.
For distributors supplying restaurant groups, “small” is therefore an incomplete product requirement.
When buying restaurant table vases wholesale, consider the vessel alongside the floral use and table conditions it needs to accommodate.

Describe the Intended Floral Use

Identify whether the vase is intended for fresh flowers, artificial stems or another decorative use.
A single stem and a fuller arrangement create different requirements. If the flowers have already been selected, provide a reference image and any relevant dimensions.
If they remain undecided, say so. An initial vase enquiry does not require a completed floral design.
Keep responsibility clear: information about buyer-selected flowers helps define the vessel requirement. It does not establish that flowers, arrangement design or supporting accessories are included in the vase supply.

Consider the Space Beyond the Vase Body

The container dimensions describe only part of the occupied space.
Flowers and foliage can extend above and beyond the vase. Review the overall height and spread of the proposed arrangement where these affect table suitability.
Use a representative dining setup, including the plates, glasses and shared items expected during service. A cleared table used for photography may conceal a poor fit.
There is no single vase height that works for every restaurant. A low container can carry a broad arrangement, while a taller narrow form may occupy less horizontal space.
State any known limits instead of requesting only “a smaller vase.”

Match the Opening to the Intended Stems

A narrow neck and a wide opening are different purchasing choices.
Review the opening and usable internal space against the intended stem group. The external width of the vase does not establish either measurement.
Identify whether the presentation depends on an insert, liner or other supporting component. Establish whether that component is required and included.
When the flowers are undecided, leave the pairing open. A styled photograph using different stems does not confirm the eventual arrangement.

Confirm How Water Will Be Held

A decorative vase should not automatically be assumed to hold water directly.
For fresh flowers, establish whether water will sit in the vase itself or in a separate container. Identify any removable parts supplied with the product.
Consider access for emptying and cleaning, and request care directions for the complete item.
For artificial flowers, confirm any required supporting components separately. Neither floral accessories nor concealed supports should be assumed to be included because they appear in an image.

Review the Proposed Combination on a Representative Table

Where the intended flowers are available, the buyer’s restaurant or floral team can review the selected vase in the proposed table setting.
Consider whether the complete arrangement leaves the required dining space and can be repositioned when needed. Stability also needs consideration in the intended condition; compact dimensions alone do not establish it.
If a supplier sample or additional pairing review is needed, agree the scope and who provides the relevant items.
An unsuitable arrangement may require a different vessel or different flowers. Reducing the vase height alone may not resolve excessive spread.

Define the Product Being Ordered

Keep the chosen reference, dimensions, opening details, material, finish and included components together.
For wholesale enquiries, state the quantity required for each selected version. Identify separate requirements where restaurant customers use different table formats.
If continuing purchases are expected, mention that briefly. Future availability, quantities and terms still require confirmation.
A complete table photograph should not be treated as a quotation for everything shown.
